Editorial policy and source standards

Our profiles distinguish sourced facts, operator declarations, contradictions and unknowns. Advertising does not change the evidence standard.

One claim, one evidence trail

Material statements about domains, companies, licences, products, payments, support, KYC and promotions are attached to dated sources. A source may support, contradict or add context to a claim. Conflicts remain visible until better evidence resolves them.

Legal-status wording

We use “illegal” only when an official authority, public warning or court decision supports that conclusion. The absence of a confirmed Zambia licence is described as “not independently verified”, not as a finding of illegality.

Freshness targets

  • Bonuses and promotional terms: recheck within 7 days.
  • Licences and official warnings: recheck within 30 days.
  • Domains, products, payments and support: recheck within 90 days.
  • Company records: recheck within 180 days.

A stale claim is not silently refreshed. Its last checked date and evidence level remain part of the public record until a new check is completed.

AI-assisted translations

English is the source editorial edition. The seven local-language editions use AI-assisted translation and identify that fact on the page. Brand names, legal entities, licence identifiers, numbers, URLs and source titles remain unchanged so the evidence can be compared across editions.

Ratings, reviews and operator replies

We do not assign an editorial score from 1 to 10. A numerical rating may appear only from visible, approved user reports, and an aggregate is withheld until at least three approved reports exist. Public submissions and operator replies are currently paused.

Corrections and change history

Corrections preserve the replaced fact and its source relationship instead of erasing the history. See the corrections policy and verification methodology for the evidence required to challenge a field.
