Match the whole claim
A useful licence check matches the legal holder, licence number, issuing authority, jurisdiction, covered product and exact domain or channel. A number in an operator footer is an operator declaration until an official record independently confirms the same combination. A licence from another country is not transferred to Zambia.
Conflicting numbers, entities or authorities are preserved as disputed evidence. The absence of a public match is described as not independently verified; it is not by itself evidence of illegality. The word illegal is reserved for an explicit official warning, enforcement record or court decision.
Betting, casino and lottery evidence can differ
Zambia’s legal framework covers different products through different statutes and administrative routes. A sportsbook claim should not be copied to casino, lottery or gaming products without scope evidence. Read the linked law guide and the original sources before making a legal or commercial decision.
Source and status rules
A source can support, contradict or provide context for a statement. Published, disputed and superseded facts remain distinguishable.
Promotions are rechecked after seven days.
Licences and official warnings are rechecked after thirty days.
Domains, products, payments and support are rechecked after ninety days; company data after 180 days.
What an evidence label means
A label describes the strength and origin of the available evidence. It is not a prediction of service quality, solvency, payout speed or safety.
Every operator remains in alphabetical order. Missing fields are part of the result, and related-party advertising cannot change a verification label, a source or the table order.
At this release, the directory publishes zero independent regulator matches for complete licence claims. Operator declarations remain visible with their actual evidence level and check date.
Each row is built from a dated public claim, not from a paid rank. Open the linked source, match the brand, company, domain and product, and check whether the source actually supports the field shown. A stale or missing fact stays visible as a research gap; it is not silently converted into a positive claim.
